I'm recruiting for an engineering business in Pershore who are looking to hire an experienced Embedded Software or Firmware manager to lead a small team of engineers.

Although the work will involve some hands-on development (coding, writing specifications, test plans etc) - the bulk of the work is to do with project and people management of a small firmware team.

It would be a great role for a proven manager, OR someone who's looking to move from Senior/Lead Engineer to a management position.

ROLE: Firmware Manager

LOCATION: Pershore

SALARY: up to £80k

Experience required for the Firmware Manager is:

• Strong technical background in embedded systems development
• Proven experience leading a team or engineering project.
• Organisation with people/project management (using JIRA or equivalent)

Beneficial skills are:

• Background in energy/renewables/telecommunications industries
• Experience coding/managing teams in regulated industries
