I'm working with an international engineering business who are looking for an Electronic Test Engineer for their site in Cheltenham. The company provide testing, validation and verification services to a range of businesses across Aerospace, Automotive and Industrial.
The work involves manual testing of various electronic products using lab equipment (scopes, PAs, generators etc) to conduct fault finding down to component level on PCBs.
Essential skills for the Electronic Test Engineer are:
- Analogue/digital electronics testing skills
- Testing of PCBs down to component level
- Use of lab equipment for electronic testing
- Maintaining / creating of test plans and records.
Beneficial skills are:
- Previous aerospace, aviation or industrial industry knowledge
- Making modifications to PCBs
HND/HNC/Degree (or similar industry experience) in an electronics related field.
