I'm recruiting for a well established electronics R&D business in Bicester who are looking to grow their engineering function. The company are involved in telecommunications, telematics, global positioning systems (GPS) along with some other technology.
They need a Senior Firmware Engineer to develop C code onto ARM/PIC/STM microcontrollers across their product range. They also need someone with a good understanding of associated hardware.
Essential skills for the Senior Firmware Engineer are:
- Embedded C
- Microcontroller development
- Analogue/digital electronics knowledge
- Comms protocols
- RTOS (any)
- PCB design skills (any package considered)
They're considering candidates with a Degree (or similar industry experience) in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Computer Science or similar.
- Remote working (2-3 days per week available)
- Company bonus up to 10%
