This role is working with a small R&D Engineering business in Cheltenham. They operate internationally but do all design & manufacturing from their unique site in Cheltenham.
They're looking to recruit a Senior or Lead level Software & Electronics Engineer to develop the next generation of their product range. Work will be split between the development of embedded code and development of electronics (analogue and digital), along with testing, documentation and some mentoring of junior staff.
The successful Senior Electronics & Software Engineer will have the following skills:
- Embedded C expertise
- ARM/STM micros
- Bare-metal and RTOS coding experience
- Analogue and digital electronics understanding
Beneficial skills would be:
- Safety-critical development exposure
- Design for harsh environments
- Proteus/Altium schematics/PCB design
The company are willing to accept those with either a strong educational background (Degree or similar) or relevant industry exposure.
